The Recipe: Stamina-Boosting Energy Bites

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free, if needed)
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)
- 1/4 cup raw honey or maple syrup 
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Optional: 2 tbsp maca powder (for an extra stamina boost!)

Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, and sea salt.
2. Add the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and maca powder (if using) to the dry ingredients. Mix well until fully combined.
3. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. If the mixture is too sticky, chill in the fridge for 10 minutes to make it easier to handle.
5. Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week—or freeze for longer storage.
